payment
◆ Methods of payment: I accept CashApp > Venmo > Ko-fi > VGen > PayPal. CashApp is my most preferred method because it does not charge transaction fees, meaning I receive the full payment. However, you are free to use any listed method. I also occasionally accept DeviantArt Points (DA Points), but only when I make an official announcement on my socials. If DA Points are available, the point conversion rate and prices will always be displayed alongside USD prices for clarity.◆ Currency: All commissions and design purchases must be paid in USD. The client is fully responsible for covering any service fees, transfer costs, or currency conversion differences. Payments made in other currencies that do not equal the correct USD amount will be considered incomplete until the balance is corrected.◆ Upfront rules: Payment must be made either in full upfront or split into two equal payments. Half is required before work begins, and the other half is due after approval of the initial sketch. Certain commission types may require full upfront payment depending on complexity. No work will begin until the first payment has been received and cleared.◆ Late or missing payments: If the second half of a split payment is not completed after sketch approval, the commission will be paused until the balance is paid. Extended delays or failure to pay will result in cancellation of the commission, with the initial payment being non-refundable as compensation for time already spent. Repeated late or missing payments may result in blacklisting from future commissions or design purchases.
Fees
◆ Rush fee: If you need your commission completed within a tight deadline, a rush fee will apply. The standard rush fee is +$20, but this may increase depending on both the timeframe and the overall complexity of the piece.◆ Shading & rendering fees: Basic cell shading can be added for an additional +10% of the base price. A more detailed rendered style is available for +16% of the base price. These fees are calculated from the commission’s original cost.◆ Complex designs: Characters with intricate details — such as highly patterned clothing, elaborate markings, ornate hairstyles, wings, armor, or multiple layered accessories — will incur a +15% complexity fee due to the extra time required.◆ Items & props: Adding props or items (such as plushies, weapons, detailed jewelry, or furniture) will increase the overall cost. Pricing depends on both the number of items and their complexity.◆ Lineart customization: Colored lineart can be requested for an additional +$4.◆ NSFW fee: NSFW commissions include an additional +25% fee due to content restrictions and the additional work involved. NSFW artwork is strictly 18+ only, and ID verification is required before I will accept an NSFW commission.◆ Licensing fees: Personal and monetized usage is already included by default. However, if the commission or design will be used for commercial merchandising (such as mass-produced products, brand materials, or large-scale resale), an additional +80% commercial license fee applies unless otherwise negotiated. If you require strict privacy and do not want me to share the work publicly, an NDA option is available for +$100.◆ Revision fees: Excessive revisions that go beyond the included limit (see Editing / Revisions section) will incur additional charges. Pricing depends on whether the change is minor or major and how much additional time is required to complete it.◆ Unclear or missing references: If no clear reference image is provided and I must work primarily from a written description, moodboard, or vague details, an additional design fee may be added to cover the extra creative work required.
Usage rights
◆ Personal use rights: All commissioned artwork and purchased designs come with full personal use rights. This includes using them for roleplay, social media icons, banners, wallpapers, personal projects, and sharing online (with proper credit to Bararose). You may not claim the art or design as your own creation.◆ Monetized use rights: Monetized use is automatically included. This means you may use my commissions and designs for things like VTubing, streaming, YouTube/TikTok content, or commissioning additional artwork of the design for products (such as prints, stickers, or charms). Proper credit to Bararose is always required.◆ Commercial merchandising rights: Direct commercial use (such as mass-producing products featuring my art or a design itself, creating merchandise lines, or selling the artwork/design as part of a larger product) requires the purchase of a commercial license. By default, this comes with an additional 80% fee (negotiable depending on the scale of the project).◆ Prohibited use: My commissions and designs may not be used for NFTs, blockchain projects, or AI training. They also may not be resold as standalone assets (such as stock art, bases, or traced work).◆ Ownership & credit: Regardless of use type, I retain credit as the original artist/designer. You may not remove my signature from artworks or fail to provide credit where required. Designs must always list Bararose as the original creator.◆ Agreement clause: By purchasing a commission or design, you acknowledge and agree to these usage rights and terms in full.
editing / revisions
◆ Sketch phase revisions: Customers are entitled to three full revisions during the sketch phase. Revisions at this stage can include major adjustments such as pose, anatomy, expression, or design details. These three revisions are covered in the original commission price.◆ Coloring/painting stage edits: Once the piece has entered the coloring or rendering stage, only a limited number of minor edits are included in the base price. Minor edits include small color adjustments, adding or removing small accessories, or fixing overlooked details.◆ Excessive edits: Excessive revisions or repeated changes that prevent forward progress on the piece will incur additional fees. These fees depend on the complexity of the changes and the amount of additional time they require.◆ Artist error: Revisions required due to my own mistakes (for example, missing a design trait that was clearly provided) will always be corrected free of charge.◆ Major revisions after sketch approval: Any major revision requested after the sketch has already been approved — such as completely changing the pose, redesigning large elements, or altering the overall composition — will result in significant additional charges.◆ Discretion clause: It is at my discretion to determine whether a requested change counts as a minor revision or a major revision. I will always communicate transparently about whether an edit is included in the base price or if it requires an additional fee.
General
◆ Communication: I expect customers to remain responsive throughout the commission process. Timely replies help keep the project moving smoothly. If you do not respond within a reasonable timeframe, I may treat the current stage as approved and continue progress accordingly.◆ Deadlines: If you have a strict deadline (such as a birthday, event, or stream), you must inform me in advance. Deadlines must be agreed upon before the commission begins. Urgent deadlines may require the addition of a rush fee depending on the timeframe.◆ References: Clear visual references are required for accuracy. Written-only descriptions and moodboards are accepted, but please note these may extend turnaround time or result in an additional design fee due to the extra creative work required.◆ Art style: My commissions will always reflect my personal art style. While I can adapt within my style, I will not directly copy or mimic another artist’s style.◆ Delivery: All commissions are digital only. Completed files will be delivered via email or private link. I do not provide shipping or physical items.◆ Portfolio use: Unless an NDA has been purchased, I retain the right to display completed commissions in my portfolio, on social media, or as examples of my work for future clients.◆ Behavior: Rude, hostile, or disrespectful conduct will not be tolerated. This includes harassment, spamming, or pressuring me to complete the work faster without paying the appropriate rush fee. Such behavior may result in cancellation of the commission and potential blacklisting.◆ Boundaries: I will not accept commissions that involve hateful, discriminatory, or harmful content. Please respect my boundaries and do not attempt to push me into creating material I am uncomfortable with.

◆ Turnaround time (TAT): My maximum turnaround time is 2 months from the date payment is received. If more time is required due to personal circumstances, I will notify you and provide progress updates. Please keep in mind that I work solely with WiFi access, which may occasionally cause unexpected delays.◆ Refund policy: Refunds will only be issued under the following circumstances:
– If no progress has been made for 2 months.
– If I personally determine that I cannot complete the commission.
Refunds will not be issued once significant progress has been made (such as linework or coloring), unless I am the one who cancels the commission.◆ NSFW work: NSFW commissions are strictly 18+ only. Customers requesting NSFW work must provide ID verification to confirm age. All NSFW commissions include an additional +25% fee due to content restrictions and the additional time/work required.◆ Respect clause: Disrespectful, hostile, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Such behavior may result in cancellation of the commission, with refund eligibility depending on progress made. Repeated or extreme cases may result in blacklisting and refusal of any future commissions.
Designs
◆ Ownership & credit: Upon purchase, you receive full rights to the character and the design, both for personal and commercial use, in accordance with my Terms of Service. All designs and artwork must always be credited to Bararose as the original designer. You may not remove or alter my signature where present.◆ Resale & trading: Designs may be resold, retraded, or gifted. Resale value should not exceed the original price unless extra commissioned or personal artwork is included. Please keep a clear log of added value if reselling.◆ Edits & redesigns: Small edits (such as adding a color, adding freckles, removing horns, etc.) are always allowed. However, you must wait at least 7 days (one week) before creating a full redesign of the character. The original designer credit must always remain, and if a redesign is drastic, the original version must still be displayed alongside it.◆ Monetized vs. commercial use: Monetized use of my designs is permitted (such as using them in videos, streams, VTubing, or commissioning art of the design for merchandise). However, direct commercial merchandising (mass-producing or selling the design itself on products like shirts, keychains, or plushies) requires an additional 80% fee paid to me, unless otherwise negotiated.◆ Toyhou.se policy: I do not have a Toyhou.se account and do not upload designs there. If you choose to upload my designs onto Toyhou.se, it is entirely your responsibility. I will not provide TH uploads. Proper credit must be given to Bararose when posting or sharing the design on any platform, including Toyhou.se.◆ Character profiles: If you create an online profile for the design (such as on Toyhou.se, Refsheet, or another archive), please send me the link. Profiles must be set to public or guest-viewable so I can keep track of my designs — and, I admit, so I can sneak a peek at them if they get extra art 🩷.◆ Species-specific rules: If the design belongs to one of my closed or semi-open species, you must follow that species’ Terms of Service. Unauthorized use of restricted traits or ignoring rarity systems will result in revocation of rights to the design.◆ Chargebacks & payment disputes: Any attempt at chargebacks or fraudulent disputes will result in an automatic blacklist and permanent loss of rights to the design. Please contact me directly if there are payment issues so we can resolve them fairly.◆ NFTs & AI usage: My designs and artwork may not be used for NFTs, blockchain projects, or AI training datasets. This includes minting, reselling as tokens, or feeding into AI generators.◆ Transferring ownership: When selling or trading a design, you must include my Terms of Service so the new owner is aware of the rules. Ownership transfers are only valid if these terms remain attached.◆ Blacklist & revocation: Failure to follow these terms (such as attempting to claim credit, theft, harassment, or violating usage clauses) may result in blacklisting. In severe cases, I reserve the right to revoke the design entirely without refund.◆ Agreement clause: By purchasing, you acknowledge and agree to all of these terms in full.

Do not request hateful or discriminatory content: I will not create artwork or designs that promote hate speech, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or any form of discrimination or harassment.
Do not request illegal or harmful content: I do not accept commissions involving illegal activities, abuse, self-harm promotion, or any content that could cause real-world harm.
Do not request fetish content I am uncomfortable with: While I am open to NSFW under certain conditions, I reserve the right to decline any fetish or kink-related content that makes me uncomfortable or that I am unwilling to draw.
Do not request stolen or plagiarized designs: I will not recreate characters, adoptables, or designs that you do not have ownership or rights to. Please only provide references to characters you own or have permission to use.
Do not request art in another artist’s exact style: I will not mimic or copy another artist’s art style. My work will always reflect my own style and creative approach.
Do not request excessive gore or disturbing imagery: While I may allow mild gore depending on context, I will not accept commissions involving extreme gore, torture, or highly disturbing subject matter.

OCs: I am happy to draw original characters of any type, provided you own them or have permission to use them.
Anthros: Anthropomorphic and furry characters are welcome, including both simple and complex designs.
Ferals: I accept feral characters, though they will always be drawn in a safe and stylized manner.
MLP: I will draw My Little Pony characters, both canon and fan-made OCs, in my own style.
Humans: Human characters are accepted, including stylized or semi-realistic depictions.
Chibis: I can create simplified or cute chibi versions of your characters for a softer aesthetic.
Cute or whimsical themes: I enjoy drawing pastel, cozy, magical, or playful themes and aesthetics.
Light gore: I allow light or stylized gore such as scratches, blood drips, or bandages, but nothing extreme.
Mild suggestive themes: I accept slightly flirty or playful concepts, though they will remain within safe and tasteful boundaries.
